Vintage Guatemalan Huipil. Patzun. Floral Motif

Patzún daily huipil. This post-1980 daily huipil was hand woven on a back strap loom in two "aleman" panels - a combination of cotton and rayon prized for its softness and drape. The panels are joined by hand embroidered decorative seams and feature extensive hand embroidered decoration in the floral motif. It is in very good condition.

These are great year round. In the winter I wear them over a light sweater and they are super cozy.
