Pinotepa Nacional Huipil. Oaxaca, Mexico.

This is a gorgeous finely handwoven huipil from the Costa Chica of Oaxaca. The huipil is woven of soft hand spun cotton. The brown color is the natural color of the native coyuchi cotton from the region. Huipiles from this region are difficult to come by and this is a fabulous example.

This was purchased from the artisan at asking price.
